Total transparency about what we see, what we don't, and how to protect your child.
The short version: we only use public Roblox data. If Roblox hides it behind a login or private settings, we can't see it either.
Fair question. Here's the honest answer.
Roblox profile data is public by default. Anyone can already look up a username on roblox.com and see the same public profile details. MyKidsDay does not unlock hidden data, bypass privacy settings, or access private chats.
We're also working on owner verification so parents can prove account ownership using a short verification code placed in a Roblox bio. That's coming soon.
If a Roblox profile is public, the exposure exists with or without our app. The best protection is locking down the Roblox account itself.
This is the most important thing you can do. These settings matter more than any monitoring tool.
Open Roblox → Settings → Privacy
Who can see my inventory → set it to Friends or No one
Who can see my friends list → set it to Friends
Who can chat with me → set it to Friends
Turn on Account PIN in Settings → Security
Turn on 2-Step Verification
Notification monitoring is 100% on-device. We never see raw messages. Daily summaries are written by Apple's on-device Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence) right on the iPhone — no OpenAI, no Gemini, no third-party AI providers. The only things that leave the phone are the finished daily summary text and critical keyword names needed to send your nightly email.
On-device AI summaries require an iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16/17 family, or newer). Older devices automatically fall back to a non-AI template summary that contains the same activity data.
We do not sell data. We do not run ads. We do not use third-party tracking.
PIN-in-bio handshake so parents can confirm they control the account they're linking.
Deeper official parent controls as Roblox expands its family safety tooling.
Smoother setup and more native parent workflows for Apple households.
