🤖 How Claude writes your summary
Activity metadata is sent to Claude (Anthropic's AI) to be turned into a readable, warm parent summary.
The AI summary you receive each morning is written from that metadata.
🤝 Transparent consent — your child knows
MyKidsDay is not a hidden surveillance app. Your child knows it's installed. The app requires your child to be part of your Apple Family Sharing group, which means Apple's own consent mechanisms are in place.
We believe honest awareness is better than covert monitoring — and research backs this up. Kids who know their parents are engaged online make better choices.
🏛️ Apple's Family Controls framework
MyKidsDay uses Apple's official Family Controls framework — the same system Apple built for parental oversight. This requires explicit approval from Apple, and we've applied for that entitlement as a registered LLC with a clear child-safety mission.
We don't use workarounds, jailbreaks, or unofficial APIs.
